Easy Fluffy pancakes with bananas and persimmons
The trick with pancakes is patience. Wait until you see bubbles rising from the middle before flipping. This fluffy pancake recipe is also fool-proof, the extra baking powder helps them rise thicker. You have to give this recipe a try!
Fluffy Pancakes
makes 6-8 pancakes total cooking time: 30 minsingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla syrup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1-2 tsp cooking oil
- sliced bananas and persimmon or seasonal fruits for serving
- preheat non-stick skillet on medium/low
- grease the pan with cooking oil
- in a mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients; flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder
- mix well, add wet ingredients; melted butter, vanilla syrup, sour cream, cream, milk, and egg
- mix well, but don't over mix, the batter may have some small lumps
- measure 1/4 cup of pancake mix, they will expand in the pan, leave space between the pancakes
- add to pan, let cook until you see lots of bubbles form 3-4 mins
- flip, and continue to cook for a few minutes 2-3 mins
- serve with thinly sliced fruits and maple syrup for a delicious breakfast!
