Easy Vietnamese Pho Beef Noodle Soup Recipe - Better than Take-out
Vietnamese Pho Beef Noodle Soup is my favourite, its not only delicious but it also boost your immunity. Pho soup is full of vitamins and nutrients, its great for colder days or when you’re not feeling so well. Pho is easy to digest and really helps fight inflammation with ginger, onion, garlic and cinnamon. This is the easiest recipe to make Vietnamese Pho anytime at home. Ingredients
• Beef steak cooked for serving
• 2 onions
• 2 inch ginger
• 3 garlics
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 anise star
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 2 cardamom pods
• 1 tbsp beef bouillon
• 1 tbsp fish sauce
• 1 tbsp honey
• 5 qts water
• Pho rice noodles
• Bean sprout
• Green onions ( garnish)
Directions
- In a nonstick pan, char onion, ginger, garlic, and spices
- Add to a large pot with beef bouillon, fish sauce, honey and fill the pot 3/4 full with water
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-2 hrs
- Bring back to a boil when ready to serve, strain broth over noodles and thinly cut steak
- Garnish with bean sprouts and green onions
