Restaurant Style Mussels in White Wine Sauce
I love seafood especially when it's super easy to prepare. Try my simple mussel recipe the next time you're craving seafood!
Mussels in White Wine Sauce
serves 3-4 total cooking time 20 mins
ingredients
- 1 1lb mussel
- 1/2 red onion, minced
- 3-4 garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cup white wine sauce
- 1 cup butter
- 4 slices bakery bread, toasted. cut diagonally
- 1/4 cup parsley (chopped, for garnish, optional)
directions
- clean mussels by rinsing in cool water, discard any mussels that have already opened
- preheat a large pot on medium-low
- add garlic and onions, saute until translucent
- add butter and white wine
- cover and let cook for 10-12 minutes
- uncover and dispose of any mussel that did not open
- serve with toasted bread
