Easy chicken and shrimp teriyaki udon


I love Japanese food, especially the noodle dishes. This ‘Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki Udon’ dish is one that I always order when going out, so I decide to recreate it at home. Made with air-fryer chicken and frozen veggies, it’s the best quick teriyaki noodles. This recipe is super easy and delicious. Give it a try!





Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki Udon

serves 2 total cooking time 30 mins

ingredients 

  • 10 shrimp
  • 2 chicken thighs, air-fry
  • 1/2 onion, sliced 
  • 1 cup frozen vegetable 
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed 
  • 2 pack udon noodles, cooked per instruction 
  • 4 tbsp teriyaki sauce, VH brand or your choice, divided 
  • sesame seed for garnishing (optional)

directions 

  1. cook udon per instruction, set aside 
  2. air fry chicken thighs, set aside 
  3. preheat a medium non-stick pan on medium heat
  4. add butter, lay shrimp in single layer, cook for 2 mins on each side, remove, set aside
  5. add onions, let cook for 3 mins, add frozen veggies
  6. add pressed garlic and grated ginger 
  7. return chicken and shrimp, add teriyaki sauce, mix well 
  8. add udon, add more teriyaki sauce, let cook for 4 minutes
  9. garnish with sesame seed, serve warm
