Hazelnut Nutella Button Cookies - Easiest Valentine’s Day Cookies

These cookies are the easiest cookies to bake for Valentine’s Day. Made of rich creamy hazelnut spread, these cookies are so yummy. You have to try this recipe!

Hazelnut Button Cookies

makes 9 cookies total baking time: 15mins

ingredients 

• 1 cup hazelnut spread 
• 1 egg, room temperature 
• 1/3 cup crushed walnuts (or any crushed nuts)

directions

1. prep baking sheet with parchment paper 
2. preheat the oven to 350 degrees
3. in a mixer, cream together hazelnut and egg
4. add flour, mix together 
5. using 1 tbsp spoon, make balls
6. lay balls on parchment paper and use thumb or spoon to make indent, add hazelnut spread, then top with nuts
7. bake for 8-10 minutes, let cool for 5 minutes

enjoy!

best kept in an airtight container for freshness for up to five days
