Quarantine Ground Beef Chinese Chow Mein
This is truly a quarantine meal. When you're absolutely out of everything and can't figure out what to make try this Ground Beef Chinese recipe. A mix of a little of everything this recipe will be a lifesaver.

Ground Beef Chow Mein
serves 2 total cooking time 30 mins
- 1 cup ground beef or 1 beef patty
- 1/2 carrot diced
- 1 small onion diced
- 1/4 cup cabbage shredded
- 1/4 red sweet pepper diced
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil, divided
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 ramen packs
- preheat a wok on medium/high
- add 1 tsp sesame oil or cooking oil, add grated ginger
- add ground beef or patty, add salt and pepper
- break up and cook until brown/done, set aside
- add 1 tsp sesame oil, add garlic and veggies, cook until wilted
- in a small bowl add soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar, mix well
- return beef and ramen to the wok, add sauce mixture
- incorporate everything well
- taste ramen, if it's still hard. add 1/4 cup water, cover, and let cook until noodles are soft
- serve warm, garnish with sesame seeds
