Impress your love one with this simple and easy 'Parisienne Lemon Crepe' recipe. French crepes take little effort, they are elegant and delicious. I love how easy this recipe is, the best part is that you're ensured to always get perfect thin crepes since blending the ingredients help create a more gluttonous batter. Served with fresh citrusy lemon zest, drizzled with lemon juice and powdered sugar, this morning treat will definitely give you the boost you need to tackle your day!
Perfect Parisienne Lemon Crepes
total cooking time: 45 mins Makes 8 crepes
ingredients- 1 cup of flour
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3-4 lemons (for serving)
- 5 tbsp butter for greasing pan
directions
- using a blender, combine ingredients and blend until smooth,
- let sit in the fridge for at least 30 mins or best overnight, to make gluttonous
- on medium heat with a non-stick pan, add 1 tsp of butter, spread evenly
- holding the handle at a 45-degree angle, slowly drizzle 1/4 cup of batter, rotating the handle to thinly spread the batter evenly in a circle
- add more batter to any empty spaces to make a circle crepe, the crepe should be thin
- let cook for 1 minute, there should be some bubbles and flip, continue to cook for 1-2 mins
- tip: wipe down your nonstick pan between crepes and re-add butter for perfect crepes
- finish by zesting the crepes with fresh lemons, drizzle with lemon juice
- finish with powdered sugar
