Deliciously Easy Carrots and Kalettes
My favourite way to cook carrots and Kalettes is simply adding them to my pan drippings after I cook my steak. The richness of the steak butter, rosemary and thyme drippings enhance the flavour of the carrots and Kalettes. If you’re not making steak you can still pan fry your carrots and Kalettes in butter, rosemary and thyme. Give this easy recipe a try!
Ingredients
- Peeled sweet carrots
- 1-2 cups Kalettes
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 bunch fresh rosemary
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- Pinch of pink salt
Directions
- On medium high eat add 3 tbsp of butter to a nonstick skillet
- Add rosemary and thyme, let cook for two minutes, remove
- Add your carrots, let cook for three minutes
- Add Kalettes, let cook for 2-4 minutes until golden
- Cook until carrots are soft and Kalettes are cooked down with some colour
- Remove and sprinkle with pink salt
- Enjoy!
Serve with your favourite protein or add to a rice noodle bowl for a deliciously easy dinner!
