Ginger Honey Bbq Chicken - Easy Dinner Ideas
Saucy chicken and rice is one of my favourite dishes to make for dinner. It’s super quick and delicious, served on a bed of warm jasmine rice with steamed veggies, this saucy 'Ginger Honey BBQ Chicken' recipe is one you’ll have to try!
Ginger Honey BBQ Chicken
serves 2 total cooking time: 25 mins
ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey bbq sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups steam veggies
- sesame seed for garnish
directions
- preheat pan on medium-high heat, add cooking oil
- place chicken thighs in a single layer, cook each side for 4-5 minutes flip, and continue until cooked another 4-5 minutes, or add more time depending on the thickness of chicken thighs
- add bbq sauce and ginger, cover chicken in sauce, and let cook for another 3-4 minutes on low medium heat
- serve with rice and steam veggies, garnish with sesame seeds
