Quick and Easy Beef Teriyaki Noodles

Beef Teriyaki Noodles

total cooking time: 45 mins serves 3-4

ingredients

  • 2-3 serving spaghettini cooked per package
  • 1 flank steak, sliced against the grain, bite-size
  • 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sweet pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil, divided
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 green onion for garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for garnish
  • salt and pepper

directions

  1. cook pasta or noodles per direction set aside
  2. cut steak against the grain, bite-size, toss in cornstarch, set aside
  3. shred veggies, set aside
  4. preheat a medium wok, add 1 tbsp sesame oil, add ginger and garlic,
  5. add beef in two separate batches, add salt and pepper
  6. cook until brown, remove and set aside
  7. in a small bowl, add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, water and cornstarch
  8. mix well, set aside
  9. add veggies to the wok, cook until soft, remove, set aside
  10. add sauce, let simmer for 2-3 minutes
  11. return veggies, beef, and noodles
  12. mix well, serve warm
  13. garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
