Recipe: "Must-Try" Delicious Cheesy Taco Shrimp Quesadillas
I love seafood, here's a simple way to enjoy spicy shrimp in a warm crispy tortilla covered in melted cheese! Yum!

Cheesy Taco Shrimp Quesadillas
8 Pieces Serve 3 Total Cooking Time: 30 Mins
ingredients
- 1lb of uncooked medium shrimped (peeled and deveined)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup sweet onion chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers chopped (mix colors)
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tsp taco seasoning or 1 tsp chili powder, tsp 1/2 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 6 - 8 flour tortillas
- *green onion for garnish
- *serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream
- preheat a medium skillet on medium/high heat
- add olive oil and veggies, cook for 1 minute or until tender
- add shrimp, taco seasoning, and garlic
- cook for 2 minutes or until shrimp turns pink, remove
- wipe down the pan with a paper towel, add tortilla
- sprinkle shredded cheese on both sides, let melt for 1 minute
- spoon in veggies and five or six shrimps
- fold over, continue to cook until golden
- garnish with green onions
- serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream
