RECIPE: "Must-Try" Delicious Chicken Teriyaki Noodle


Chicken teriyaki is always one of my favorite Japanese dishes. I like it even better when its served on noodles! Here's a simple way to make your own easy and delicious 'Teriyaki Chicken Noodle' dish at home!
Japanese Teriyaki Chicken Noodle

Teriyaki Chicken Noodle

Serves 3 Total Cooking Time: 45 mins




ingredients
  • 2 chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 cloves grated garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 1/2 sweet onion diced
  • 4-5 mushrooms diced
  • 1/4 sweet peppers assorted diced
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 pack vermicelli noodles cooked per direction
sauce ingredients
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey

directions

  1. add ingredients for marinating in a bowl, add chicken and leave for at least 15 mins
  2. prepare veggies
  3. preheat wok on medium/high
  4. add chicken with marinate
  5. cook for 7-10 minutes until golden, and sauce is reduced
  6. remove chicken, leave some sauce behind in wok
  7. set chicken aside
  8. using the same wok
  9. add 1 tbsp of cooking oil
  10. add your veggies
  11. add 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  12. stir occasionally, let veggies cook down, remove, set aside
  13. in a small saucepan combine noodle sauce ingredients together and bring to a boil
  14. let simmer for a few minutes until it reduces
  15. turn off heat
  16. toss cooked noodles in sauce
  17. in a bowl, add noodles, topped with veggies then add chicken
  18. finish with garnish like green onions or sesame seeds
