RECIPE: "Must-Try" Delicious Chicken Teriyaki Noodle
Chicken teriyaki is always one of my favorite Japanese dishes. I like it even better when its served on noodles! Here's a simple way to make your own easy and delicious 'Teriyaki Chicken Noodle' dish at home!
Teriyaki Chicken Noodle
Serves 3 Total Cooking Time: 45 mins
ingredients
- 2 chicken breast, cut into chunks
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 2 cloves grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 carrot diced
- 1/2 sweet onion diced
- 4-5 mushrooms diced
- 1/4 sweet peppers assorted diced
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 pack vermicelli noodles cooked per direction
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
directions
- add ingredients for marinating in a bowl, add chicken and leave for at least 15 mins
- prepare veggies
- preheat wok on medium/high
- add chicken with marinate
- cook for 7-10 minutes until golden, and sauce is reduced
- remove chicken, leave some sauce behind in wok
- set chicken aside
- using the same wok
- add 1 tbsp of cooking oil
- add your veggies
- add 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- stir occasionally, let veggies cook down, remove, set aside
- in a small saucepan combine noodle sauce ingredients together and bring to a boil
- let simmer for a few minutes until it reduces
- turn off heat
- toss cooked noodles in sauce
- in a bowl, add noodles, topped with veggies then add chicken
- finish with garnish like green onions or sesame seeds
