Banana Bread Brownies - Fancy And Fudgy
I hate when bananas brown quickly, but then I came by this Banana Brownies recipe that’s moist and delicious. The ripen bananas have a strong sweet flavour, paired with fudge brownie swirls, these brownies are quick and yummy to make. I love the marble look, it’s a little extra fancy. Give this easy recipe a try!
Fudgy Banana Bread Brownies
yields 12 bars total baking time 55 mins
ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 medium ripen bananas, mashed
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips, divided
directions
- preheat oven at 350 degrees, prep 9 inch baking pan with butter and parchment paper
- in a mixer cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar
- add flour, combine well
- add one egg at a time, beat on medium
- add vanilla, and salt, mix until just combined set aside
- in another bowl mash bananas and add baking powder
- add half of the batter into the banana mixture, whisk to combine
- with the reminder batter, add cocoa and half the chocolate chips
- in your baking pan, add half the chocolate batter, dollops the chocolate batter, it doesn’t have to cover the entire bottom
- add banana batter on top, angle the baking tray to distribute batter
- add remaining spoonfuls of chocolate batter on top
- use a knife or chopstick to drag around batter to marble
- add remaining chocolate chips
- bake for 40-45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
- leave to cool for 5-10 minutes
