Delicious Olive Garden Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Copy-cat
This simple recipe was a definite favorite. It's super quick and easy and super delicious, just like at the restaurant! Give it a try!
Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
Serves 2-3 Total Cooking Time: 60 mins
ingredients
- 2-3 servings fettuccine pasta cooked per packaged direction
- 2 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 butter
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 cup 35% cream
- 2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp parsley (optional)
- bring a large pot of salted water to boil, and olive oil
- add pasta, cooked per direction, strain, toss in a little olive oil and set aside
- preheat oven to 350 degree
- rub the chicken with garlic powder and onion powder
- on a baking tray, lay chicken flat on tin foil
- roll tin foil sides up to create an envelope
- bake for 30 minutes or until done
- remove and carefully slice, let sit until ready to serve
- cut into slices, be careful it's hot!
- preheat a small saucepot on medium
- melt butter, add cream cheese, stir constantly to prevent burning
- add heavy cream
- add garlic powder, parsley, 2 tsp salt, and pepper
- stir occasionally, reduce heat, you don't want it to be boiling
- let simmer for 25 minutes whisk often
- remove from heat and whisk in cheese
- taste! add salt and pepper
- on a plate, add the fettuccine, top with chicken and smoother with creamy pasta sauce
