Delicious Olive Garden Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Copy-cat



This simple recipe was a definite favorite. It's super quick and easy and super delicious, just like at the restaurant! Give it a try!

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Serves 2-3 Total Cooking Time:  60 mins



ingredients
  • 2-3 servings fettuccine pasta cooked per packaged direction
  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 butter
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 cup 35% cream
  • 2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp parsley (optional)
directions
  1. bring a large pot of salted water to boil, and olive oil
  2. add pasta, cooked per direction, strain, toss in a little olive oil and set aside
  3. preheat oven to 350 degree
  4. rub the chicken with garlic powder and onion powder
  5. on a baking tray, lay chicken flat on tin foil
  6. roll tin foil sides up to create an envelope
  7. bake for 30 minutes or until done
  8. remove and carefully slice, let sit until ready to serve
  9. cut into slices, be careful it's hot!
  10. preheat a small saucepot on medium
  11. melt butter, add cream cheese, stir constantly to prevent burning
  12. add heavy cream
  13. add garlic powder, parsley, 2 tsp salt, and pepper
  14. stir occasionally, reduce heat, you don't want it to be boiling
  15. let simmer for 25 minutes whisk often
  16. remove from heat and whisk in cheese
  17. taste! add salt and pepper
  18. on a plate, add the fettuccine, top with chicken and smoother with creamy pasta sauce
