Garlic Mash Potatoes
Serves 3 Total Cooking Time: 30 mins
ingredients
- 4-5 large potatoes peeled and cut into 4-6 pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cloves garlic crushed and halved
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- in a large pot, add potatoes
- fill the pot with water to almost full
- add garlic and salt
- bring to a boil, turn down to medium
- cook until soft about 25 mins or test the softness of the potatoes with a fork
- drain, return potatoes to the warm pot
- make a space in the middle
- add milk and butter
- mash with a potato masher or hand-blender
- serve warm with gravy!
