Garlic Mash Potatoes

Serves 3 Total Cooking Time: 30 mins

ingredients

  • 4-5 large potatoes peeled and cut into 4-6 pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed and halved
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
direction
  1. in a large pot, add potatoes
  2. fill the pot with water to almost full
  3. add garlic and salt
  4. bring to a boil, turn down to medium
  5. cook until soft about 25 mins or test the softness of the potatoes with a fork
  6. drain, return potatoes to the warm pot
  7. make a space in the middle
  8. add milk and butter
  9. mash with a potato masher or hand-blender
  10. serve warm with gravy!
