Sweet and Tangy 'Honey Orange Salmon'
Baked fish can be super easy and tasty. This 'Honey Orange Salmon' will definitely be a dinner favorite, especially with some baked potatoes and green beans. Simply add them to the oven and wait for your delicious meal. Try my original recipe for your next dinner idea!
Honey Orange Salmon
serves 2-3 total cooking time: 35 mins
ingredients
- 1 salmon filet
- 1/4 cup dark soy sauce
- 1/2 orange, divided
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp crushed walnuts
- 1 tbsp honey
- salt
- pepper
- aluminum foil
directions
- preheat oven to 400 degree
- line a baking pan with aluminum foil
- cut the orange to get quarters, set one quarter aside for sauce,
- with the other make a few small orange slices, set them aside
- in a small bowl combine, soy sauce, 1/4 juiced orange, sesame oil, garlic
- lay salmon skin down on the baking pan, add salt and pepper
- pour sauce mixture over salmon, add orange slices
- lay walnuts on top, drizzle with honey, cover with foil
- bake for 30 minutes, uncover and broil for 3 minutes
- serve with baked potatoes and green beans
